Management PhD Program student Health


This Management PhD Program project is a collaboration with Pieter Medendorp of the Donders Institute of the Radboud University; the neuroimaging experiments will be performed in his lab in Nijmegen.

Part of your work will be to contribute to the Faculty education program for 160 hours in the first and second year of the project.


Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative candidates with a MSc in (one of) the natural sciences, human movement sciences, mechanical or biomedical engineering, psychology or related discipline. A Management PhD Program strong mathematical background and experience in programming (e.g. MatLab) are very welcome as well as excellent writing and presentation skills in English.

Conditions of employment

The Management PhD Program initial appointment will be for a period of 18 months. After satisfactory evaluation of the initial appointment it will be extended for a total duration of 4 years. OPPORTUNITY:
Management PHD Program Become a student (leading research project to a degree) with a higher education and research (PhD, Master) or an internship with the work and the QBI are part of the initial phase of an exciting center of the second generation New research sequencing, which is involved in groundbreaking research projects to genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of brain function and disease are to identify the brain. You can research projects by supporting your findings with the publication and become part of a successful team to develop tools for different applications of the sequencing (exom capture, RNA-Seq, ChIP-ff).

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Information technology or related field.

2. Experience with Bioinformatics/Next-gen tools and languages e.g. Read aligner, GATK, GALAXY, UCSC Genome Browser, Ensemble database

3. GPA of 5.5 (scale 1-7 equivalent to approx 78%)

4. Excellent written and spoken English (IELTS 6.5)

5. Fundamental knowledge of software engineering (programming, testing, object-oriented systems programming and design)

6. In-depth knowledge of Unix and Unix-scripting.

7. Experience with cluster and/or cloud computing technologies (e.g. SGE)

8. Required languages Java, Perl, Python, C++, XML, MySQL

Erasmus Mundus Grant Management Phd Program in Lotus Project


Management Phd Program Lotus is an Erasmus Mundus Action Two Partnership (EMA2) of European and South-East Asian Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Associations aiming at fostering mutual enrichment and better understanding between the EU and South-East Asia (China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand), through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills at higher education level and to co-operate in the following program activities:

  • Mobility of undergraduate and graduate students
  • Mobility of PhD students
  • Post-doc mobility
  • Academic and administrative staff mobility

The types of mobility to be funded are:

  • For students: undergraduate, master, doctorate and post-doctorate mobility opportunities
  • For academic staff: exchanges for the purposes of teaching, practical training and research

This Management Phd Program project is to give South-East Asian students and staff the possibility to go to a European University to improve, enrich, learn, experience, .... their own knowledge and skills.

Please bear in mind that the scholarships are only granted to South-East Asian students and staff coming to Europe.

The grant covers:

Management Phd Program to enable students to benefit in a linguistic, cultural and educational way from the experience of pursuing academic studies in another country, all students should have a thorough command of English (this can only be proven by means of internationally recognized documents, p.e. IELTS certificate, TOEFL, First Certificate of Cambridge, an English diploma, a Degree obtained in English). Please note, however, that this also depends on the language requirements of the host universities within the Lotus project.

Monica Cole Research Grant Management Phd Program


The Monica Cole Research Grant Management Phd Program provides £ 1000 annually to a junior female physical geography or a graduate student at the point of origin abroad. The grant Management Phd Program is given in memory of Professor Monica Cole, a prominent researcher in physical geography.

Born in 1922, Monica Cole
Management Phd Program was a leader in the field of geo-botany. His career lasted decades and continents. She has served as president of Geography at Bedford College for many years. Shortly after his retirement in 1975 she was awarded the RGS-IBG Murchison Medal for significant contributions to the geography of South Africa and the understanding of the savannah.
